The unofficial Director of Cannoli Sales, Daniel Heier, is back with his quartet for a special night of music celebrating jazz drumming pioneer Roy Haynes, who would have turned 101 on March 13th. With a career spanning more than eight decades: Roy Haynes has played with Charlie Parker, Sarah Vaughn, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Chick Corea, Roy Hargrove, Stan Getz, Pat Metheny and many more.
The Dan Heier Quartet performs at Trio Jazz Club on Thursday, March 12th at 6:30PM.
